Ralph Wilson Stadium

National Football League fans in the Buffalo area have a great reason to celebrate. Every football season, they cheer on their local Buffalo Bills professional football team, in Ralph Wilson Stadium. The stadium has been the home turf for the Bills since it opened in 1973, in Orchard Park southeast of Buffalo. "The Ralph" is named after the Buffalo Bills owner, president and founder, Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. This Pro Football Hall of Famer is one of the founding owners of the American Football League.

Ralph Wilson Stadium was originally named Rich Stadium, after Rich Products agreed to a 25-year naming rights deal for $1.5 million. The stadium was renamed to honor Ralph Wilson in 1998. Throughout the years, the stadium has hosted many top-name concerts, including The Grateful Dead, The Jacksons and Bruce Springsteen.
