Alfred State

Founded in 1908, Alfred State College is a member of the State University of New York system and the Rochester Area Colleges consortium. The rural campus is located in the city of Alfred in western New York, enrolling roughly 3,500 students.

Alfred University

Holiday Valley Resort

Located in quaint Ellicottville, the Holiday Valley Resort is a 290-acre ski resort set in western New York south of Buffalo – but not far from Jamestown and Olean. Founded in 1957, Holiday Valley offers 58 total runs, the longest of which being one mile.

The Holiday Valley ski area also features an 11-chair-lift, five terrain parks, and night skiing. During the off-season, Holiday is sought for its Sky High Adventure Park and Double Black Diamond Golf Course.
