State University of New York at Geneseo
Founded in 1871, the State University of New York-College at Geneseo is a public coeducational university located in the small town of Geneseo in central New York – just south of Rochester. As a member of the State University of New York (SUNY) system, Geneseo features a 220-acre campus enrolling roughly 5,000 students.
Geneseo is also a member of the Council of Public Liberal Arts Colleges, featuring 79 undergraduate, masters, and minor programs. Athletics at Geneseo are comprised of 20 varsity teams – collectively known as the Geneseo Knights – competing in the State University of New York Atlantic Conference.
