Saratoga Raceway & Casino
First opened in 1863, the Saratoga Raceway & Casino is a Thoroughbred horse racing track set in Saratoga Springs, New York – north of Albany in the Hudson Valley region. The city of Saratoga Springs has been a leader in horse breeding and racing since as early as the 1840s, and the Saratoga Race Course is the oldest racetrack in the United States.
Operated by the New York Racing Association, the facilities feature a main dirt track, a turf track and a smaller, inner turf track. The course has hosted numerous notable events in its time, including the Travers Stakes, Whitney Handicap, and the Alabama Stakes.
