Beaver Lake Nature Center
Encompasses 650 acres, the Beaver Lake Nature Center, located west of Syracuse in central New York. The center is situated next to Mud Lake in the Beaver Lake County Park and features more than 400 annual programs about the natural world. Be sure to bring your binoculars to spy the 200 species of birds living near the center.
Visitors enjoy walking along the 10 miles of trail in the park, and canoeing on the lake in the summer. Celebrate a special occasion or birthday at the center, by enjoying a short hike and critter talk. Party themes include Maple Sugaring, Exploring Life in a Pond, and Turtles, Hawks & Owls.
